Equinox 2010 Celebrated in Asia,
Autumnal Equinox or Mid-Autumn Festival is one of the popular festivals around the whole of the world and it usually occurs on the 15th of the eight month of Chinese calendar.
This even usually comes in the month of October and September depending on the Gregorian calendar.

The Autumnal Equinox 2010 is celebrated in China from the 11th of September to the 10th of October. Singapore will be making the major celebrations on the 18th September 2010.
The main festival is to celebrate the Mongol invasions back in China in 1341 AD. The Autumn Festival happens when the moon is at the brightest position.
Asian countries do a lot of celebrations to commemorate the Autumnal Equinox and there are a number of processions and walks as well as special gatherings to remember the invasion.
