University of Texas Gunman shoots self (Video)

Texas-Austin: an active shooting situation took place on the University of Texas-Austin campus this morning. The suspected gunman has died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound, the Austin-American Statesman reports. Police are looking for another suspect, though university officials say it is not clear if there is one due to differing physical descriptions.
No other injuries by gunfire have been reported.
UT Spokesman Don Hale told the Statesman that the gunman “apparently took his own life” on the sixth floor of the Perry-Castaneda Library. Hale said the gunman did not have identification on him.
According to KVUE, the suspect was carrying an AK-47. (See KVUE for live video from Austin.)
UT student Andrew McWaters told KVUE that he heard “four gunshots” while walking near the library around 8:10 a.m. McWaters said he then came face to face with one of the suspects, who had a black ski mask on and “smiled” and “waved.”
