YOUTUBE,com PLAY: Some of the web's greatest hits will soon be on display at the Guggenheim. The museum is teaming up with YouTube to showcase artists who work in online video. YouTube Play features 125 videos picked from more than 23,000 submissions from all over the world. A jury will narrow the selections down to just 20 which will be presented next month at the Guggenheim's museums. The Guggenheim Foundation says it is fascinated by the idea of looking at how online video is emerging as an art form in its own right.
FACEBOOK PHONE?: Facebook says it has no plans to build its own phone. The social networking site is denying an internet report claiming the company is secretly building software for a phone and working with a third party to build the hardware. Facebook's denial comes after Google dismissed reports last year about its plans to build a phone but later came out with the Nexus One.
