Dalton, GA 7:00 AM The Dalton Half Marathon will be held in Dalton Georgia on October 16, 2010. The race will consist of a half marathon, US$5000 run, and a mile fun run. The race is open to all age groups and skill levels.
BIG Day! We need all the community help we can muster to make this Race an exciting, fun-filled day for all the Runners and all the spectators. We have all kinds of tasks - setting up and breaking down Aid Stations, setting up equipment for Road Blocks, running the Volunteer Registration tables, driving equipment and volunteers to the Race Course setups and much more.
We'll start Race Day early - like 6:30am early! All volunteers are asked to come to the Registration table at 6:30am for final assignments. Once there, we'll hand out the free T-shirts, complimentary access passes to the Post-Race Party, directions to your post and other information.
All volunteers will be at their stations by 7:30am.
The Starting Gun is fired at 8:00am. Then we expect to bring all volunteers in from thier stations no later than 12:30pm.
