Pace wins again in China

Lee-Ann Pace two-putted for birdie on the second playoff hole Sunday to win the Suzhou Taihu Ladies Open.

Pace, who also won last week, birdied three of the final four holes of regulation to post a four-under 68. She finished the tournament at five-under- par 211 at Suzhou Taihu International Golf Course.

The South African was joined in the playoff by Hannah Jun (68), Julieta Granada (68) and Christel Boeljon (73).

Pace had a chance to win on the first extra hole, but three-putted for par. Boeljon, who missed a three-foot birdie putt on the first playoff hole, and Jun also made par, while Granada was eliminated with a bogey.

After Jun and Boeljon made par on the second extra hole, Pace two-putted for birdie and the win. It was her fifth victory of the season on the Ladies European Tour.

Becky Brewerton (68), Rebecca Coakley (73) and third-round leader Dewi-Claire Schreefel, who stumbled to a three-over 75, shared fifth place at four-under- par 212.
