Charles Leaf, a reporter for Fox 5 News, has been arrested and charged with the sexual assault of a 4-year old girl. Leaf was charged with aggravated sexual assault on a minor and endangering the welfare of children.
According to the Washington Post, Leaf allegedly assaulted the girl at his home in Wyckoff, New Jersey. Leaf was arrested yesterday and is being held on
$250,000 bail.
Charles Leaf, according to his station biography, is a 41-year old married man with two children. His biography says that he used to be a marine, and is a two-time Emmy award winning journalist. Leaf has been with Fox 5 since 2006.
It is unclear of Leaf has an attorney, and Bergen County Prosecutor John L. Molinelli has yet to release any further details on the case
