| Abu Dhabi Unveils $11 Million Christmas Tree, |
A Christmas tree valued at $11 million is being showcased at the Emirates Palace in Abu Dhabi, as the luxury hotel invites its guests to celebrate the holidays with its new marvel.
The Christmas tree, over 42 feet tall, is dressed with diamonds, pearls and other precious stones worth a total of over $11 million. The hotel aims to receive a Guinness World Record as the world’s most expensively dressed tree.
“This is another unique event for Emirates Palace and will ensure the many international guests and visitors we welcome to the hotel and Abu Dhabi at this time of year will be able to be part of this world's first history in the making moment,” said Hans Olbertz, the hotel’s General Manager, according to a press release.
The Emirates Palace was awarded the "Best Business Hotel in Abu Dhabi" by Business Traveller Middle East magazine.
