84-year-old Hugh Hefner had an eventful Christmas Holiday weekend. He proposed to 24 year old Cyrstal Harris, a Playboy Playmate for the popular men’s magazine, and she accepted the offer. Hefner used a bit of modern technology to announce the news to the world. He used his Twitter account to give news of the his engagement to the young blond woman.

Hugh stated that Crystal burst into tears after getting the engagement ring from him. Crystal has been playmate of the month in December of 2009 and in many other photo shoots. The new couple met in 2008 during Halloween festivities at the Playboy mansion. The wedding date has not yet been announced.
A quote from Hugh Hefner, “Love knows no age barriers,” pretty much describes this relationship. Hefner has had two other marriages in the past making this one his third. His previous wife was another Playmate, Kimberley Conrad. They divorced last year.
