Eid-ul-Fitr 2010 Gift: India to set 31 Pakistan prisoners free,


With the Eid-ul-Fitr celebrations gearing up all over the country, India is all set to free 31 Pakistan prisoners as a part of India’s effort for peace and as a return for 442 Indian fishermen being released by Pakistan.



Conveying the great news to Pakistan with deep appreciation on the release of the Indian fishermen, External Affairs Minister SM Krishna also conveyed Eid greetings to his Pakistan counterpart Shah Mahmoud Qureishi.

Meanwhile, India is all gearing up to celebrate Eid-ul-Fitr in full swing. Eid means festivity while Fitr means conclusion of fast. Eid-ul-Fitr, thus marks the celebration of the conclusion of Ramazan, the holy month of fasting for the Muslims.
