Back To the Mac Event: Your Expectations

Apple surprised us on Wednesday when they announced that there would be a ‘Back to the Mac’ event on October 20, 2010. We now have the start time and a list of live blogs that will be covering this event, thanks to Alan Ng. The big question now is – what are your expectations?
There is no getting away from the fact that the idea of any Verizon or new iPad announcement will not happen. The reason for this is in the name of the event; so we know to expect things that concern the Mac – but what?
There are so many things that Apple could unveil next week, the biggest announcement could be Mac OS X 10.7 Lion. However, Steve Jobs still has a few more things that would help Apple over the holiday season, and a new MacBook Air could be one of them.
We cannot see them updating any other Mac line, as they have only just done that, but there could be updates to software used on these Mac’s. iLife and iWork are just two examples, and with them being over two years old now – they certainly need an update. These are just a few ideas that i have; what else what you like Steve to announce next week?
