BCS Rankings Rocked by Latest 2010

College Football Rankings

2010 BCS rankings are going to mirror a chaotic College football rankings system. Those first 2010 BCS rankings aren't
.

even due out until October 17, but when they do come out, it is going to give college football fans an odd look at the possibilities for the BCS National Championship Game. One of the assumptions right now, is that Alabama has fallen out of the picture with a loss to South Carolina, but thier season really isn't over just yet. It's tougher for them that Auburn and LSU are both still undefeated in the SEC, but they still have a shot to fight back into the 2010 SEC Championship Game and play their way into that final game.

Standing in the way of Alabama are possibly two undefeated Big Ten teams that could stay that way all year. Both the Ohio State Buckeyes and Michigan State Spartans are looking really good this year, and a Big Ten scheduling quirk has them not even playing each other in 2010. That could lead to two undefeated teams in the Big Ten Conference, and most likely two slots in the BCS bowl games. What could that mean? It could mean at at-large bid is already taken, even before factoring in the other teams that could finish the year undefeated. If Boise State and TCU keep up their pace of blowing out every opponent, they could also finish above Alabama in the final BCS rankings, and thus clinch a spot of their own in one of the elite bowl games.
