Novell Pulse is an enterprise collaboration software platform under development from Novell slated for release during the second half of 2010. The software is one of the first major developments outside Google to utilize the Google Wave Federation Protocol. Pulse was originally an autonomous project, but after the launch of Google Wave, Novell began working to allow interoperability between the two platforms.
Service
Pulse will first be offered as a cloud service, but it is expected that Novell will offer standalone software to enterprises for local deployment, as is currently the case with Groupwise, Teaming, and other Novell software.
